Breakdown of Teacher Blogs

Wow! There are a ton of blogs by teachers on the web.  As I was reading through several I added several interesting ideas that I added to my personal Idea Journal for when I have my own classroom.  The blog I found to be the most interesting was Stump the teacher, available here.  This teacher was not only posting from a teacher's point of view, but also a parent's.  He used humor and amazing ideas to show how and why things are the way they are or why they do or do not work.  I actually found myself going through several of his archieved blogs and just reading and reading.  I did find another interesting blog, though I didn't like it as much simply because it seemed to be rather random and all over the place.  It is called Teaching Blog Central and can be accessed here.  It was more of a collection of various people's work, however it was classified by grade levels which did cut down on some of the chaos.  My least favorite blog was WW Teacher Blog Roll.  It seemed unappealing and had limited information on it.  It also appeared to not have been updated or changed in quite some time.  You can read more about it here.  For the most part, many of the blogs were amazing to read.  I am just curious as to how they manage to find the time to keep them updated.
